Sarawak has recorded a new case of rabies between June 15 and 19, breaking a three-week period without infections.
The positive case was detected in a stray domestic dog in Kampung Simpok, Siburan, from 25 samples collected.
The public is urged not to underestimate the importance of rabies prevention and to cooperate in the fight against the disease.
