The FDA and CDC are investigating 22 Salmonella Bovismorbificans infections in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington, with 2 hospitalizations and no deaths reported. The outbreak has been linked to broccoli sprouts from Evergreen Fresh Sprouts, Moyie Springs, Idaho. Affected products, with expiration dates between September 7 and September 16, were sold in stores, restaurants, and food service establishments. 19 of the 22 people interviewed consumed sprouts, with 17 of them specifically eating broccoli sprouts. It is recommended to discard or return the recalled products.
