The DRC Ministry of Health reports on the Ebola outbreak. There are 363 cumulative confirmed cases and 62 deaths, with a case fatality rate of 17.1%.
Ituri Province is the epicenter with 341 confirmed cases and 48 deaths, notably in Bunia (85 cases, 8 deaths), Rwampara (72 cases, 15 deaths), and Mongbwalu (47 cases, 10 deaths). Nineteen new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. There are cases in North Kivu (19) and South Kivu (3). 206 patients are in isolation/hospitalization, and 6 have recovered. The contact tracing rate is 45.5%.
