Thailand has recorded a cumulative total of 557,993 HIV infections. Although annual new infections have decreased, the 15 to 24 age group presents a concerning risk of transmission, accumulating over 25,000 infections. 13 provinces, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chon Buri, exceed 10,000 cases. It is estimated that 60,000 people carrying the virus have not been tested. 83% of people undergoing treatment have access to antiretroviral therapy.
