As of July 23, 50 confirmed or probable cases of dengue DENV-1 had been reported in Wallis and Futuna. Of these, 29 were in Futuna and 21 in Wallis.
Three new cases have been reported since the last update, and the outbreak shows progression since epidemiological week 26. Eight percent of patients have required hospitalization. The red alert remains in effect.
