Iraq has recorded 313 confirmed cases of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) and 24 deaths since the beginning of 2016. In the last week, 14 cases and 1 death were reported in Nineveh province. Dhi Qar province is the most affected, with 119 cases and 9 deaths. CCHF has a case fatality rate of up to 40%.
